Third Quarter Rise In GDP

The preliminary estimates of GDP for the third quarter of 2010 are that GDP rose by 0.8% following the rise of 1.2% in Q2 but more than expected. Output in production increased by 0.6%, construction by 4% and services by 0.6%. Agriculture's contribution fell by 0.3% after a rise of 2.7% in Q2. GDP increased by 2.8% in Q3 2010 compared with Q3 2009.
